JR Norris scores a top-20 finish in his debut at the Texas Motor Speedway piloting the No. 15 McKinney Pipe & Steel Billy Ballew Motorsports NASCAR Craftsman Truck. Norris posted an impressive time in qualifying placing the Silverado in the 12th place starting grid for the running of the Silverado 350k Friday, November 2.
Teammate Kyle Busch, in the No. 51 Flanders Beef Patties Chevrolet Silverado put the Billy Ballew Motorsports entry in the fifth place position for the 146-lap event and took the lead by lap 38. Busch and Ballew coming off victory in the Craftsman Truck Series last week in Atlanta were looking for two in a row. Busch came close leading twice in the event for a total of 27 laps until the engine expired on lap 70 just as the caution was coming out for another incident on the track.
